6.a. The Versions read “the voice of one saying.” See n. 3.a. 6.b. MT וְאָמַר “and he said” is supported by Syr. But DSSIsa LXX and Vg read a 1st sg, “I said.” Tg. and 31 Heb. MSS read a ptcp.
